The shocking news of eBay’s impending departure prompted it’s nearest neighbour to reaffirm their commitment to the town.

A spokesman for Paypal said: ‘Following eBay’s announcement, we wish to reaffirm PayPal’s commitment to Ireland and our growing Operations Centres in Dundalk and Dublin.’
